C.K.L.S Finance Plc<\/strong> is looking for a dynamic and results-oriented Deputy Branch Manager<\/strong> to support the leadership and operational excellence of our branch network. Role Purpose<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Deputy Branch Manager assists in overseeing all branch functions, with a primary focus on credit portfolio quality, staff supervision, and operational compliance. You will play a key role in implementing the 5Cs and 4Rs frameworks<\/strong> at the branch level, ensuring that loan growth is balanced with meticulous risk management and superior customer service.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Key Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

  • Operational Oversight:<\/strong> Assist the Branch Manager in supervising daily operations, ensuring that all activities comply with institutional policies, NBC regulations, and ESG standards<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Credit Portfolio Management:<\/strong> Review and verify credit appraisal reports submitted by Loan Officers. Ensure the disciplined application of the 5Cs<\/strong> (Character, Capacity, Capital, Collateral, Conditions) before recommending approvals.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Arrears & Recovery Management:<\/strong> Lead the branch’s efforts in managing non-performing loans. Implement the 4Rs<\/strong> (Re-payment, Rehabilitation, Re-scheduling, Re-phasing) to support clients and maintain a healthy Portfolio at Risk (PAR)<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Staff Supervision & Mentoring:<\/strong> Provide direct guidance and training to Credit Officers, Cashiers, and administrative staff. Foster a collaborative environment focused on professional growth and high performance.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Business Development:<\/strong> Support the branch in achieving growth targets by identifying new market opportunities and building strong relationships with local community leaders and stakeholders.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Customer Service Excellence:<\/strong> Act as a secondary point of contact for complex client inquiries or grievances, ensuring that all customers are treated with respect and professional care.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Reporting & Analysis:<\/strong> Prepare weekly and monthly branch performance reports, analyzing credit trends and operational efficiency for submission to the Head Office.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Internal Control:<\/strong> Monitor branch security protocols and cash management procedures to safeguard institutional assets and prevent operational errors.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

    Required Qualifications & Skills<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    • Education:<\/strong> Bachelor\u2019s degree in Banking, Finance, Management, or a related field.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Experience:<\/strong> Minimum of 3\u20135 years of experience in credit operations or branch management within the microfinance or banking sector.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Technical Expertise:<\/strong> Proven mastery of credit appraisal techniques, risk assessment, and debt recovery strategies.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Leadership Ability:<\/strong> Strong interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to motivate teams and manage diverse personalities.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Integrity:<\/strong> A commitment to the highest ethical standards, transparency, and professional accountability.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Analytical Skills:<\/strong> Ability to interpret branch financial data and market trends to make informed operational decisions.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Language & Tech:<\/strong> Proficiency in Khmer and English; advanced skills in Microsoft Office and experience with Core Banking Systems (CBS).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n
